Eric Hildebrandt has been studying and practicing art and design for more than 25 years on the West Coast.

While living in Seattle, he exhibited his photography and works on paper and wood; curated group shows; slayed the runway with human-size paper doll clothes; hand-painted and silk-screened on copper; and threw parties in his loft with photographer and partner De Kwok.

For five years at the beginning of the century, he served as co-founder and publication director of Tablet, an award-winning arts, culture and politics magazine. He is a self-taught graphic designer and has produced work for bands and labels, arts organizations, HIV and public health groups, and educational institutions.

Eric moved to San Francisco with Flapjack (and De) and entered the world of interiors and design. For 14 years he worked as a sales executive in the modern design retail industry. Eric is currently residing in San Francisco and Guerneville, California, where his studio sits underneath soaring Redwood trees.
